Late
Laying by you
I can tell you’re slowly fading away
Dread
Walking by you
As you have nothing to say, you don’t wanna stay

Cause you know that I know, baby, where we are close but far
Yeah, you know that I know that it’s true
Cause you know that I know, baby, where we are close but far
Yeah, you know that I know that it’s true

Give me all your loveless hopeless anger
Give me all that got us wondering why
How did we go back to being strangers
Maybe we should face that we’re living a lie

Late
Coming back to
To a silent home that we’ve made
Chained
Had enough too
Yet it’s on my mind but I don’t wanna cave

Cause I know that you know, baby, where we are close but far
Yeah, I know that you know that it’s true
Cause I know that you know, baby, where we are close but far
Yeah, know that you know that it’s true

Give me all your loveless hopeless anger
Give me all that got us wondering why
How did we go back to being strangers
Maybe we should face that we’re living a lie

Holding on to your love but it left you
Holding on to your words but they left too
Holding on but I know that I lost you, baby baby
Holding on to your love but it left you
Holding on to your words but they left too
Holding on but I know that I lost you, baby baby

Late
Laying by you
I can tell you’re slowly fading away
Chained
Had enough too
Yet it’s on our minds but we don’t wanna cave

Give me all your loveless hopeless anger
Give me all that got us wondering why
How did we go back to being strangers
Maybe we should face that we’re living a lie

Holding on to the love but it left you
Holding on to your words but they left too
Holding on but I know that I lost you, baby baby
Holding on to the love but it left you
Holding on to your words but they left too
Holding on but I know that I lost you, baby baby
